Friendship ??

I have attacked a neighbour of mine(he/she is in a league with 2 or 3 members) a couple of times. I have attacked him not to plunder but to try to take him out early, so that he doesn't become a large player and compete with me over plundering the cities near us. I have taken substantial losses, but he now has sent out a message offering friendship. How do I go about answering it ? Any ideas ???
For now I have actually replied that I should get something in return for "not attacking" him.
Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks.

You could let him be ... for now. Wait until his city is big enough or he's building his second city, that way :

1. You can gain big resc later on coz big pops mean big resc
2. You can chief one of his villages after he is move his main city (ussually to the cropper)

But you need to be strong enough to take them out later on. Work out with allies member near you.

I have almost the same problem except this guy refuse to talk and he is constantly trying to recover so I just speed up to make lobbyists and finish him

Can't you use demolisher to destroy his mansion?

if its the only city it doesnt need to have a mansion to be the main city.

Yes, read carefully my post above -- you have to wait until he's build his second city and move the main city. Then u can chief it.

i got a question though...

if i got 2 cities and both only has annexes...

which is my main city?
